Step 4: Its time to add some media files to Plex. Give some friendly name and click on the NEXT button. As baffling at that might seem at first, it’s actually a clever way to ensure server stability: you can only restart Plex Media Server if you’re either sitting at the computer it is running on, because that’s the only way to ensure you can turn it back on.
